Romans 12:12

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

In a world that is constantly calling us to be our own saviour and to find happiness and fulfillment in relationships, money and fame, we are choosing Jesus. Step by step we are breaking down what it means to accept Christ as our personal Saviour, and to truly love God with our hearts, with our minds, and with our hands.

“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19) God poured out all of heaven, so that we might have a chance to get to know Him and more importantly, to love Him.

”God permitted His beloved Son, full of grace and truth, to come from a world of indescribable glory, to a world marred and blighted with sin, darkened with the shadow of death and the curse. He permitted Him to leave the bosom of His love, the adoration of the angels, to suffer shame, insult, humiliation, hatred, and death...and all this that man might be uplifted from the ruin and degradation of sin that he might reflect the love of God and share the joy of holiness.” (Steps to Christ 14.3)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

With each new day, and each new step in our walk with Christ we are being transformed, our minds are being renewed, and we are learning to love God. We are choosing to yield to the Holy Spirit, and to meditate on the life Christ (our Sacrifice, our Advocate and our Brother) in hopes of returning back to our first love.

"You who in heart long for something better than this world can give, recognize this longing as the voice of God to your soul." STC 28.2
